STRAYFEELINGS LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates https://straydogtsv.com and the Stray Dog Smokehouse membership and kitchen store. This policy explains what information we collect from you, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly: your name, email address, password (stored hashed), shipping address, and payment information when you place an order or start a membership. We collect technical information about your device and browser automatically through standard server logs and cookies, including IP address, referral source, pages viewed, and time on site.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and membership.
- To process and ship orders from the kitchen store.
- To send transactional email (order confirmations, receipts, password resets).
- To improve recipes, the website, and our customer service.
- To prevent fraud and protect our cooks and our business.
3. Microsoft Advertising UET disclosure
We use Microsofts Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag to measure conversions and serve relevant ads on Microsoft Advertising (Bing). The UET tag collects information about your visit, including pages viewed, time on page, and certain user actions, and may use cookies to attribute conversions. 4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use first-party cookies for session management, the shopping cart, and your dismissal of the cookie banner. We use third-party cookies for analytics (Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics) and advertising measurement (Microsoft Advertising UET, Meta Pixel). 5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with: payment processors (to charge your card), shipping carriers (to deliver your order), email providers (to send transactional and optional marketing email), analytics and advertising providers as described above, and law enforcement when required by a valid legal request.
6. Your California (CCPA) rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request a copy of that information, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale (we do not sell). To exercise these rights, email info@straydogtsv.com from the address on file with your account.
7. Your European (GDPR) rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Email info@straydogtsv.com to exercise any of these rights.
8. Retention
We retain account and order data for 7 years after the last interaction to satisfy tax and consumer-protection requirements. Marketing email lists are retained until you unsubscribe. Server logs are retained for 90 days.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords at rest, and strict access controls. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Stray Dog Smokehouse website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email info@straydogtsv.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post any updates to this policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be emailed to active members.
