New England Clam Chowder
Creamy white chowder packed with tender clams, salty bacon, and Yukon potatoes.

Ingredients
- 3 cans chopped clams with juice
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 onion diced
- 2 ribs celery
- 3 cups diced Yukon potatoes
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp flour
Method
Render bacon in a heavy pot until crisp. Remove and reserve.
Cook onion and celery in the fat until soft. Stir in flour for 1 minute.
Whisk in milk and cream, then add potatoes and clam juice. Simmer 18 minutes.
Stir in clams and bacon, taste, and season. Serve with oyster crackers.
