Apple Cinnamon Galette
Rustic free-form pie with cinnamon-sugared apples on a butter-flecked crust.

Ingredients
- 1 disc pie dough
- 4 large apples sliced
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 egg for wash
- 2 tbsp turbinado sugar
Method
Roll dough into a 12 inch round on parchment.
Toss apples with sugar, cinnamon, flour, and lemon. Pile into the center.
Fold the edges over the filling, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle turbinado.
Bake at 400 F for 40 minutes until the crust is deep golden.
