Chicago Deep-Dish Pizza
Buttery cornmeal crust cradling mozzarella, Italian sausage, and chunky tomato.

Ingredients
- Deep dish dough recipe
- 1 lb crumbled Italian sausage
- 1 lb low moisture mozzarella
- 2 cups chunky tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
Method
Press dough into a buttered 10 inch deep dish pan, going 2 inches up the sides.
Layer sliced mozzarella on the dough to protect the crust.
Top with crumbled sausage and ladle tomato sauce over.
Bake at 425 F for 35 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese bubbles. Rest 10 minutes.
